Book Description
Professor James H. Moonly is one of Grey Owl City’s foremost academic minds. When an explosion at a rubber duck shoppe draws the attention of the British Intelligence Committee, the good professor is thrust into a conspiracy involving a devious and ancient organization known as the League of the Symbol’s Vigil. Professor Moonly partners with Ms. Viola Gooseberry, an investigator from the committee, and James Gant, an American general to solve the mystery of what—or who—set off the explosion. Their investigation leads the trio to many places both strange and dangerous, from Rifter’s Lane where door-to-door assassins eat Chinese take-out, to a disappearing isle in Hong Kong’s Tolo Harbour. Ultimately, the three discover their answer, which only raises more questions and sets them on a confrontational path with the one man who can answer them.
